Bring your gloves, tools, and a can-do attitude! Your Board invites you to participate in our first Forebay Field Work Day of the 2025 season. The winter messed up the field pretty badly and we could use all hands on deck to fill in holes, clean up the dugout, and get our beloved field back in tip top shape! PLEASE RSVP here so we can get an idea of how much we might be able to accomplish. This is likely be the first of many field work days.💪 Pro tip: Any time spent at the field will count towards your volunteer hours!😀

Do You Have a Home that has been

Titled into your Trust?

If you’ve transferred your home’s title or deed into your trust’s name, it’s crucial to inform your insurance agent to maintain proper coverage. Some insurance companies require notification of such changes to recognize the trust as an insured entity under your policy. Without this, your trust might not be covered, leading to potential coverage issues. Typically, if the named insured is also the trustee, there shouldn’t be a problem, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

The Importance of Updating Your Policy

When your home is owned by a trust, your homeowners insurance policy should reflect this ownership to ensure comprehensive protection. This often involves adding the trust as an “additional insured” on your policy. By doing so, both you and the trust are covered for property damage and liability claims. Failing to update your policy can result in significant coverage gaps, leaving the trust exposed to potential risks:

· Coverage Denial: In the event of a claim, your insurer might deny coverage if the policy doesn’t list the trust as an insured party.

· Liability Exposure: Without proper policy updates, the trust may not be protected against liability claims arising from incidents on the property.

· Personal Property Gaps: The trust’s personal property within the home might not be covered if the policy isn’t correctly adjusted.

Eldorado National Forest Roadside Hazard Abatement Program Project

The Caldor Forest and Community Restoration Project aims to mitigate roadside hazard trees within the Eldorado National Forest (ENF) impacted by the 2021 Caldor Fire. The project involves removing dead and dying trees within 200 feet of roadways to protect public safety and infrastructure, reduce fire fuel, and support

forest regeneration.

The initiative is part of a broader recovery effort in collaboration with the El Dorado Resource Conservation District (RCD), CAL FIRE, and ENF, funded through various agreements and programs. This work is crucial for preventing future wildfires, protecting watersheds, and enhancing forest health and resilience.

Right Tree, Right Place

Help keep your community safe by planting the right tree in the right place. This starts with keeping trees and other plants away from PG&E equipment.

  • Choose fire-resistant trees and plants.

  • Create and maintain defensible space. This means creating a buffer zone between your home and nearby trees for protection against wildfires.

  • Always call 811 at least two working days before you dig or plant. Crews will mark any underground utilities for free so you can avoid them when digging.

  • Submit plans for new buildings and major landscaping projects to avoid any interference with our equipment: PGEPlanReview@pge.com.
