Forebay Park Renovations - Parks & Trails Division invites the public to join a Community Meeting to learn about updates and progress made on Forebay Park Renovations. The Community Meeting will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pollock Pines-Camino Community Center. 

 
 

HOW TO BE QUICKLY NOTIFIED OF AN EVAC ORDER With the wildfire danger rapidly growing, getting notified quickly about an evacuation order is vital. El Dorado County uses the Smart911 app, phone calls, and text messaging to get the word out about evacuations. You must be registered in the system to receive these notifications. To sign up, go to https://ready.edso.org.

Thanks to CEDAPP members and the El Dorado County Surveyors Office, the Pollock Pines Business Directory map has been updated. New 3'x5' copies are posted at Safeway, CVS, Judy Morgan Park, and Pizza Factory. Click on this image to open a zoomable view. ----------------->



 

The Hands Across Pollock Clean-up Day will not be held in 2024. The main space usually utilized for the El Dorado Disposal collection bins has instead been needed by the construction team working on the Pony Express Trail improvements this year.

There are plans for this event to return in May 2025. This event runs on volunteers! Reach out

to cedapp.pollockpines@gmail.com to volunteer your time for this important event.

 
Pacific Gas & Electric News

To provide additional financial assistance to more households with past-due energy bills, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is modifying guidelines mid-year for the Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help (REACH) program. REACH and REACH Triple Match help qualifying low- to moderate-income customers pay their past-due energy bill and help prevent service disconnections.

You are invited to enjoy a hot, nutritious meal, Monday through Friday at any of the Senior Dining Centers listed below. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. for the suggested voluntary contribution of $3.00 per meal for adults 60 years and older. Monday through Friday at the

CEDAPP meetings are held the first Monday of each month (shifts to the first Tuesday

if falling on a holiday). Meetings are currently held at 6:00pm - please contact cedapp.pollockpines@gmail.com for location, link, or with any questions.


Note: All CEDAPP meetings and events are open to the public. CEDAPP is an all inclusive community organization. The more community folks involved, the more “COMMON UNITY” there is!
